I've been singing along to this a lot. People make it sounds like Abel is breaking up with us. Track 4: Often You have probably heard this word and song repeated over radio waves countless times. Why do people believe he's limited to only a certain number of songs like he's releasing a cassette? And that is purely based on how good the song is. What's sad is that he was allegedly working with Doc McKinney again for this album but it appears none of those tracks actually made it on. The cymbals are like shplshhh and the vocals have a really harsh sibilance. Feelin' a strong 8 on this one.
Then I watched the video and the guy was a sex trafficker. It's especially odd because the rest of the album is sonically impeccable. Prisoner is a near perfect track. Earned It did seem out of place, but it's still a solid song, even if it has been overplayed on the radio. This album was just a far more mature project than Kissland ever was.
