Istanbul is not one of them, thanks to the likes of Persecutory, whose debut album has just been released via Godz Ov War. Later this year expect the next release « Encomium of Perverse Instincts » split with Sarinvomit. However, as an example of solid, engrossing music, this one is a winner. Just a steamroller of blackened death thrash. For reasons unknown to me, one of the members finally decided to share it after roughly 7 years. Since then we did a couple of one-off gigs around Europe and then recorded a split release with turkish horde Sarinvomit which hopefully will be out mid 2019. With a hotbed of serrated riff volleys, Infectious Torment and Vulgargoat work the strings well together, every now and then descending into a commanding chug that eases concerns that Persecutory may lack the guile to go with the grit.

We had some ideas about underlining each scenario on the front cover but the final result we worked out with Daniel « Nekronikon » Corcuera proved to be a good summary of the songs. But they are an excellent band, prepared to storm through any barriers. But the entire album is an act of defiance, a true mass murdering album! When Harald Nævdal Daemonaz and Olve Eikemo Abbath decided to branch out together with growing interest in black metal with some thanks to Euronymous they were both barely in their twenties. On a worldwide level how has the reaction been to your music by fans of war, black and death metal? We all listen to a variety of different musical styles, which is normal. I actually included bands that I have a 'history' with of some sort but yeah there are many bands from all around the Arab world and I don't think a part 1 would be enough to include all bands.
